Welcome to the British American Society (BAS) website.  BAS headquarters is located in San Diego, California. We maintain strong ties with the UK and other British expat groups in the USA and Canada.

Our Mission

The British American Society's mission is to  provide a means for British and other ex-pats to meet each other in a friendly, and fun environment and to support business networking among its members and in the local community.  The British American Society and its members are committed to  diversity in its events and its membership.  BAS members are encouraged to take an active part in attending and organising events as well as supporting the recruitment of new members.

History and Profile

The British American Society (BAS) was founded in 1993 by Colleen Garton. 

BAS is a social and business networking group based in San Diego California. Its membership is comprised of members primarily from the UK and the USA but has members from many different countries around the world.
